This single was released in the US in December 1971 and a year later (in November 1972) in the UK and in most other European countries. The references on the matrix card lead us to conclude that the presence of "Happy Xmas" in the Belgian charts was based on the sale of imported records from the UK and that there was an actual Belgian (re)release in 1974 with no impact on the charts.
