The Core Team

Although the Society is primarily a virtual organisation, you need real people with flesh and blood to make things happen.
The Core Team is that human interface with the outside world, developing initiatives, notably via the Society's website, creating partnerships with others and providing a point of contact for those interested in joining the Society's adventure.

The Core Team is: Johan Ral, Jos Bijnens and Antoine Panier.

Johan Ral
Founder, co-Chairman

Johan Ral's passion for music began in 1965, when he discovered The Beatles... and all the others. He started his career as a journalist at the independent rock magazine Riff in 1979 and then became a producer, reporter and anchorman for Flemish public radio and television. Over the years he has interviewed many singers, songwriters and musicians, including Paul McCartney and George Harrison.

A degree holder in Communication and European Law, Johan Ral is a consultant in corporate communication and a freelance researcher and writer on the history of popular music.

Jos Bijnens

Jos Bijnens is a biologist, with a special interest in ornithology, and a pharmacist. He has both passionately and meticulously been collecting Beatles records and memorabilia for decades and owns one of the finest Beatles collections in Europe.

Antoine Panier

Antoine started developing databases for SME's and not-for-profit organisations in 1992. He now runs in own company and is specialised in web design and development. Antoine is also a PR officer for a guitar ensemble.
